Tokyo
based artist. <Edo-moji> are
traditional design characters created by deforming calligraphy<SHO>,
which can be seen in Kaminarimon, Hanten, Senja-fuda, and so on. Through the
discovery and research of these artistic values, he positioned Edo-moji as the
world's first graffiti (street) art, and developed his original Edo-moji by
constructing alphabets as parts of kanji characters. He has been working exclusively in his personal
domain since around 2000, but in 2017 he began full-fledged artist activities,
establishing a new style of art expressed through the use of textures such as
graffiti art and pop art.
