BRAND BIO:
Starting from 2013, Labels (Stickers)- the brand’s essential, were made
and posted all around various cities starting from Tokyo as the core. During the era,
production of merchandise items has also started. It was the
launch of Autumn / Winter 2015 that kicked the start of the brand’s full-line
collections. The participation in Amazon Fashion Week’s “AT TOKYO” program in
2017 was the brand’s first presentation in a runway form. Casted
along with skateboarders and musicians who are close to the brand, “GIMATAI”,
an Okinawa based original-style Japanese Motorcycle Gang, performed their
riding at the runway as models, which caused a buzz among the media. To express
the recognition of BEP’s Tokyo Identity, although having fashion at its core,
the brand produces various projects such as productions of published photo
books and curations of art shows in various genres.
